Program Manager
Position Overview:
This person is responsible for all aspects of managing electro-optic
sensor and laser development programs for DoD applications.
Responsible for cost, resource, materials and schedule management.
- Administer all elements of Program Management, including program planning, staffing, performance, cost/schedule tracking and projection, risk management, program status reporting, and customer relations
- Assess program issues and develop solutions meeting both program requirements and customer satisfaction objectives
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, performance specifications, work statements, budgets and contract terms
Qualifications
- Proven track record in program / project management of small ($3-$10 Million) multi-functional engineering development contracts from inception through completion.
- Self directed with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with guidelines provided by the F.A.R. and Military standards/specifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in program/project management with a B.S. (M.S. desired) degree in a science or engineering discipline
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with military or optical systems and solid state lasers desired.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required
