Data Results from Fibertek Airborne LIDAR Sensor System

| The above image was taken from a prototype compact obstacle avoidance LIDAR. The image shows detail of trees, building and wires detected by the system. Detection range for a 6mm wire is 70 meters. Terrain and other extended objects are detected at several hundred meters. The system is designed for use by small UAV. Target weight of the entire system is less than 7 lbs. |
