May 2005 - Fibertek, Inc. delivered a breadboard, achieving world record performance, to the Directed Energy Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory. The system architecture is based on a diode pumped double cladding fiber amplifier seeded by a commercial solid state laser source. At the customer site, Fibertek demonstrated 1.75MW at approximately 10Kpps with nanosecond pulses.
